Meet Alejandra
Alejandra Spector, LCSW, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
Before graduate school, Alejandra served as the Director of Outreach for Mexicanos en Exilio, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting Mexican activists and journalists seeking political asylum while continuing to speak out against state corruption and impunity. She has been invited to speak nationally and internationally on the human rights situation at the U.S.–Mexico border.
Alejandra has been in private practice since 2021 and remains deeply passionate about immigrant rights and immigrant mental health. Inspired by her own journey with chronic illness, she expanded her focus to also support individuals navigating chronic and complex health conditions.
When she’s not working, you can find Alejandra gardening, traveling, or crafting.
